Position Statement
The academic honour rolls are intended to recognize the outstanding academic achievement of Cambrian College students. This recognition is awarded through either the President’s Honour Roll or the Dean’s Honour Roll.
Policy
Students are recognized each semester for their academic achievement.
The President’s Honour Roll recognizes students who achieve a term grade point average of 4.00, with no deficiencies, and who complete a minimum 15 credits in a given semester. Courses that are graded “Pass/Fail” will be excluded.
The Deans’ Honour Roll recognizes students who achieve a term grade point average of 3.50 or better, with no deficiencies, and who complete a minimum 15 credits in a given semester. Courses that are graded “Pass/Fail” will be excluded.
Academic Upgrading
To qualify for the President’s Honour Roll Academic Upgrading students must complete a minimum of 13 credits within any academic semester with a term grade point average of 4.00, with no deficiencies. Courses that are graded “Pass/Fail” will be excluded.
To qualify for the Dean’s Honour Roll Academic Upgrading students must complete a minimum of 13 credits within any academic semester with a term grade point average of 3.50 with no deficiencies. Courses that are graded “Pass/Fail” will be excluded.
