Please join us for a full day information session to provide stronger linkages for all partners involved in dual credits. Supporting dual credit students to be successful is the focus of the Cambrian College Student Success Forum.

*Funding for supply costs will be covered. Please connect with your Superintendent for approvals.

Sonja Vandermeer from School College Work Initiative will provide general information of both, including definitions and acronyms, history, who’s involved and eligibility criteria. Ask your burning questions to get clarity so you can provide the best service to our students.
A Day in the Life of a Dual Credit Student
Want to know what a Dual Credit student experiences when they walk through the college doors? Join us on a scavenger hunt to learn about the various aspects of being enrolled in a Dual Credit class. From finding the library to locating a classroom, step into a student’s shoes for a glimpse of their life. Your experience will help you to provide better support to current and prospective Dual Credit students.

Ever wonder what Dual Credit students learn when they’re in class? Our talented course teachers will provide a demo on what they teach. Learning is not just in the books: there are myriad other life lessons being shared during class time.
