Explore Program and Career Options at Cambrian’s Fall Open House

Close to a thousand people who are interested in college studies and career exploration are expected to visit Cambrian College’s Fall Open House to learn about the more than 80 programs that Cambrian offers and the many career paths available to college graduates.


“The Open House, which takes place on Saturday, November 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., is geared towards prospective students, parents, and families who want to learn about what Cambrian has to offer in terms of our academic programs, how to apply, how to make school more affordable, and how to take advantage of all of the services at Cambrian that help make our students successful,” said Interim President Sonia Del Missier.


During the event, visitors can meet professors, program coordinators, and staff to learn about the full- and part-time programs offered at Cambrian.  They can also explore the campus and find out about student life through campus tours that will showcase the College’s state-of-the art labs, high-tech shops, athletic facilities, library, Learning Centre, and residences.


This free event also provides visitors with:

  • Information about Cambrian’s new Job Guarantee program
  • Options for adding a degree to a diploma in an little as one year
  • A chance to win a $1,000 scholarship or an iPad Mini
  • A free chili lunch


At the Open House, families are also encouraged to take part in the Teddy Bear Picnic and Auction, which benefits pediatric cancer research.
