SUDBURY – On November 8, close to 1,000 people are expected to visit Cambrian College’s Fall Open House to learn about its more than 80 programs and the many career paths available to college graduates.
“The Open House is a great opportunity for prospective students and their families to see everything Cambrian has to offer,” says Natalie Duguay, Strategic Enrolment Manager. “We are confident that once future students meet our faculty and discover Cambrian’s top-notch facilities and bustling student life, they won’t want to go anywhere else.”
Professors, program coordinators, and staff will be on hand at the Open House to inform visitors about the full- and part-time programs offered at Cambrian.
During the event, prospective students can explore career options, learn about student services and student life and enjoy a free lunch. They can also take a tour of the campus, residences and the city.
Visitors can enter for the chance to win an iPad or a $1,000 scholarship.
The Fall Open House takes place Saturday, November 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
Visitors are encouraged to stop by the Teddy Bear Picnic and Auction, which goes from noon to 4 p.m. in the Student Centre. All proceeds from the picnic, organized by Cambrian’s Police Foundations students, go to childhood cancer research.
