SUDBURY – On March 28, Cambrian College expects to welcome more than 1,000 visitors to explore the campus and learn about our multitude of programs and courses during the Spring Open House. Comedian James Cunningham, the host of Food Network Canada’s Eat St., will warm up the crowd at the start of the day.
“With so many activities, games and prizes, including a carnival for the first time, this year’s Open House will be like no other,” says Jean-Guy Robichaud, Director of Student Success and Recruitment. “Prospective students, applicants, families and friends will get a taste of Cambrian life while having a great time.”
Faculty and staff will be available all day to answer questions and help prospective students explore the campus and different program options. Visitors also get a free lunch.
The carnival, a first for Cambrian, takes place in the Student Life Centre. Students and visitors will enjoy a bevy of carnival treats – snow cones, candy apples, corn dogs and cotton candy – as jugglers, puppeteers, buskers and magicians entertain them.
The Spring Open House takes place Saturday, March 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cambrian College’s Barrydowne campus. It is free and open to the public.
