SUDBURY – On October 6, Cambrian College’s Laurie Arbour, an employment consultant at the College’s Espanola campus, was honoured for her contributions to youth employment. A leader with 15 years of experience in the field and more than 26 years as part of the Cambrian community, Arbour has worked directly with hundreds of local youth to help them achieve their short- and long-term educational and career goals.

The Futures Conference was attended by more than 375 delegates from youth employment centres and colleges, as well as representatives from the private and public sectors. The event is the largest annual professional development opportunity for those who work with young people seeking employment.
