Cambrian College presents Trio Tangere

Cambrian College’s School of Music and the Sudbury Guitar Society will present a special concert featuring Trio Tangere on Friday, February 24, 2017.

Ottawa-based Trio Tangere will perform at Cambrian College on February 24, 2017.

The exciting new ensemble, based in Ottawa, Ontario, includes an unusual melodic combination of two guitars and a violin. The group consists of solo virtuous violinist Mark Djokic and guitarists Jerome Ducharme (Schulich School of Music, McGill University) and Louis Trépanier (School of Music, University of Ottawa).

Specializing in Latin, classical and contemporary musical styles, the ensemble will perform original works as well as transcriptions and arrangements.

Date: Friday, February 24, 2017
Time: 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Location: Cambrian College, Amphitheatre, room 2226
