SUDBURY – Cambrian College’s Dental Clinic offers preventive oral health service clinics to the general public at a discounted price. This semester, the clinic is specifically looking for individuals six to 20 years of age, to help the dental students get practice with younger patients. These services include:
- Dental examinations
- Teeth cleaning
- Fluoride treatment
- X-rays
- Athletic mouth guards
- Pit and fissure sealants
- Nutritional counselling
- Oral hygiene instruction
The clinic is open from September to May with appointments available in the day and evening for a registration fee of $25 per person or $35 per family.
It is staffed by students in Cambrian’s Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting programs under the supervision of licensed dentists and registered dental hygienists.
