SUDBURY – Internationally renowned parenting expert and best-selling author Barbara Coloroso is coming to Sudbury and Manitoulin Island in April.
Coloroso is the latest guest of the Cambrian College Speaker Series. She will be discussing how to help children manage transitions in their lives – from elementary school to high school, and from high school to college.
Coloroso will be at the Manitoulin Conference Centre in Little Current, Wednesday, April 10th, at 5:30 p.m., and at Cambrian College, Thursday, April 11, at 5:30 p.m. Joining her will be Catherine Poulton, Cambrian College’s Wellness Coordinator, who will give a presentation on wellness on campus.
Both events are free and include dinner, but seating is limited, so pre-registration is required, at www.cambrianinternational.ca/events/careercoaches.
With over 40 years of experience in education, Coloroso has appeared on every major television network, including Oprah, and has been featured in leading publications such as Time, Newsweek, and the New York Times.
Her areas of expertise include parenting, discipline, conflict resolution, and how to deal with bullying.
