Computer Systems Technology
Prepare for a career in the computer sciences. As an authorized Cisco Systems Networking Academy and Microsoft IT Academy, Cambrian’s Computer Systems Technology program equips you in all the in-depth technical and customer service skills needed to manage and solve the networking, security, wireless access, and VoIP needs of support teams within organizations of all sizes.
Plus, you'll study desktop multi-user operating systems, local and wide area networks, network security and management, and programming languages from faculty like Bob Vachon – one of our profs who literally helped write the Cisco Systems book on networking.
Each year, select students compete in the Ontario Technological Skills Competition. Since 2005, our students have earned 18 provincial medals and 7 national medals.
