The Laamanen Centre
The Laamanen Centre is located between the townhouses and the dorms and there are many reasons you might drop by. You will find the Residence Life Office, the laundry room and Rafters, which is a great place to hang out, study and attend events.
The Front Desk
Located in the Residence Dorms, the front desk is staffed 24hrs a day and provides residents with one on one service to ensure all needs and requests are met.
Lounges
Located on each floor of the Residence Dorms there are common areas for residents to gather. These areas are equipped with televisions and lounge furniture. There are also numerous lounges dedicated to studying. These lounges are outfitted with tables and chairs that are perfect for group or individual studying.
Common Kitchens
Located on each floor of the Residence Dorms and open 24hrs a day, common kitchens feature full size stoves and allow all residents to cook at their own freedom. Each townhouse is equipped with a full kitchen.
Laundry
The laundry room is located inside the Laamanen Centre. All washers and dryers operate using a swipe card. Cards can be purchased from a machine located inside the laundry room. The cost for washing and drying a load is $4.25 ($2.25 to wash, $2.00 to dry).
Maintenance
Need it fixed? We can help! If you require any maintenance to your room please fill out a maintenance request online through your Residence Portal. Maintenance workers will enter your suite or townhouse and complete all insufficiencies listed on the request. You can access your Residence Portal here.
