We want to provide you with an update on the contract negotiations between Ontario’s 24 colleges and its faculty members.
No new deal has been reached.
The union representing the faculty members will be in a legal strike position no earlier than October 15th. This doesn’t necessarily mean there will be a strike at that time.
In the event of a strike, colleges must receive five days’ notice.
In the meantime, it is business as usual for students.
We encourage you to continue with your studies, and complete all your assignments.
Student services such as residence, food services, library, gym, the Student Centre, Enrolment Centre, Learning Centre, and Glen Crombie Centre will continue.
We will provide you with updates as they become available.
