This program begins September 16, 2019, at Cambrian’s Barrydowne Campus. Receive hands-on, in school training for 10 weeks and an 8-week work placement starting in January.
- OSSD or GED*
- 16 years of age or over
- A resident of, and able to work in Ontario
- Proficient in the English language
*If you do not possess an OSSD or GED, you may still be considered. Summer courses in math, English, computers, and self-management are available to applicants who wish to participate in the program but need their skills refreshed.
How to Apply
To apply for this program, you must first attend an information session on May 1 or May 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cambrian’s Barrydowne campus (parking is free). After you attend one of the program information sessions, you may be asked to attend a math and English skills assessment session to qualify for this opportunity.
